Refunds & cancellations
These terms apply to paid Desktop Bloomhub engagements such as Event Performance Dashboard Engagements, Attendee Behaviour Studies, Post-Event Briefing Sessions, and Multi-Event Comparison Reviews. They do not cover products or delivery models we do not offer.
Eligibility
Refunds are considered when work has not started, when we cancel an engagement we cannot deliver, or when a statement of work expressly provides a cooling-off window. Informational browsing on this website does not create a purchase.
Timeframe to request
Send refund or cancellation requests in writing to info@desktop-bloomhub.click within seven days of the triggering event (cancellation notice, missed start date, or agreed milestone failure), unless the statement of work sets a different window.
Full and partial refunds
- Full refund of fees paid if we cancel before delivery through no fault of yours, or if you cancel in writing before we begin source review and no deposit forfeiture applies.
- Partial refund if you cancel after source review or draft work has begun: fees for completed stages are retained; unused later stages may be refunded on a pro-rata basis described in your statement of work.
Non-refundable items
Completed briefings, delivered final packs, and third-party costs we prepaid with your written approval (for example venue room hire for an on-site briefing) are non-refundable.
Deposits
Deposits secure scheduling. If you cancel after we have reserved analyst time and begun source review, the deposit may be retained up to the value of work already performed, with any remainder handled as a partial refund.
Rescheduling
Briefings may be rescheduled once without fee when you give at least five business days’ notice. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee of HKD 1,200 or forfeiture of a portion of the deposit if analyst time cannot be reallocated.
No-shows
If your stakeholders do not attend a confirmed briefing without notice, the briefing fee is charged as delivered. A replacement session can be booked at the then-current briefing rate.
Work already started
Once cleaned datasets or draft dashboards exist, cancellation does not unwind that work. You may request delivery of materials completed to date subject to payment for that stage.
Process and timing
Approved refunds are processed within fourteen business days to the original payment method where possible. Bank transfers may take longer depending on your institution. We confirm the amount and method by email.
